President | CEO
Born and raised in Tallahassee, Florida, Brian has spent the last 20 plus years in the trenches of IT. A true IT geek at heart, Brian is passionate about IT and internet marketing, and his enthusiasm for all things internet is very evident when you speak with him.
Graduating with a degree in Information Systems from Florida State University, Brian started his IT career as a Network Administrator at Associated Industries of Florida managing the network and all help desk activities. After that, he had an opportunity in South Florida with Associated Industries Insurance Services as their Vice President of IT. While there, he oversaw a team that developed and managed all operational IT activities for one of the largest Workers Compensation insurance companies in Florida at the time. While it was a great opportunity, Brian and his family missed Tallahassee, and moved back in the Summer of 2008.
Prior to joining Epyon, Brian spent the previous 9 years with GTO Access Systems, the manufacturer of Mighty Mule automatic gate openers, as their Vice President of IT and Internet Operations. In his time there, he managed a team that was responsible for the growth of eCommerce to account for 30% of the total revenue of the company. In addition, Brian worked with sister companies under the parent company Nortek (NTK) to train their teams in Search Engine Optimization, keyword research & analysis, and Google Analytics reporting.
Outside of work, Brian spends most of his time with his wife Ali and their 3 children. You can typically find them at Doak Campbell Stadium cheering on their beloved Florida State Seminoles in the Fall, or on the beach at St. George in the Summer.
